Europe: Crete and France
Well, I'll put some information about the places I visited in Europe on
this page. You will note that I visited France for most of my holidays.
I like France very much, mainly because of the weather in the south.
A few photos of Crete
Sunset in Crete, over the village of Agios Nikolaos. I visited Crete in
the end of October 1994. The weather was fine, about 24 degrees Celsius during the days
and about 18 at night. The sea was nice and warm, I would often go for a swim
at six o'clock. There were not many tourists left, so it was nice to drive around over
the island and visited what was left of the old cities and temples.

A few kilometres south-east of Courgevel, in the Parc National de
Vanoise, you have a beautiful view of the mountain tops, which go op to
3600 meters high
